You Don’t Believe

Pure and simple you don’t believe you can get what you want. You don’t believe you deserve what you want. So each and every day you keep checking and asking yourself. Is it here? Why isn’t it here? Where is it?

When you find out you’re expecting a baby. After a while you calm down and know without a doubt Junior will be in give or take nine months. You don’t keep checking. You start to get yourself, your partner and your environment ready.

If you’re really honest with yourself, no matter how much lip service you might pay to others, deep down you know what you believe and what might be possible for you. Are you willing to admit it to yourself?

Even though X is not possible for me. I deeply and completely, love, forgive and accept myself.

Even though this is impossible. I choose to forgive myself for holding onto this and I choose to forgive those others that may have contributed to this in any way, shape or form.

Even though I don’t deserve X in my life. I’m choosing to have compassion for myself

Even though I’m not worthy of achieving this. I choose to be more open about this in the very near future.

What if this was not true and this was possible for me?

What if I was deserving of achieving, getting and more of what I wanted?

What if I did deserve this?

What if I was worthy of great things?

This is possible for me.

This I can achieve.

I am worthy and deserving of this.

EFT and The Law of Attraction – Why Does It Take So Long? – Part 1

I’m beginning a little mini series here, because I think there is so much to write about I don’t want you and I to miss anything.

So you’ve heard about this law of attraction thing, you’ve visualised, you’ve created a vision board, you have written out your ideal day script, you might have even said thank you and been grateful for where you are and what you have got. Yet nothing seems to be happening. You’re not getting what you want.

Some bright spark might have even said, things come to those that don’t need it the most. This certainly doesn’t help you! Apart from making you angry and frustrated.

The Universal Law of “Getting Ready”

There is a natural waiting time in getting what you want. That does not mean you can’t get what you want tomorrow! Suppose you wanted a baby. Tomorrow you opened your door and in good Disney, stork fashion on your door step was a baby. What would reaction be? Oh how lovely my new born baby? I suspect – Hell No! You’d freak out!

You are not emotionally ready. You are not physically ready. You are not financially ready. You have not prepared or let your employer know, so that you and they can get ready. Your house, the nursery isn’t ready or even panted.

What if you received a car tomorrow? Yes, it can happen. Perhaps you would be in shock, awe and excitement. Great. Yet, you would still need to sell or give away your old one. You would need to clean up the garage or find a new parking space for your new car and you would still need to sort out insurance.

The waiting doesn’t mean you are not getting what you want. The universe is allowing you and your environment to get ready for what it is you want.

Even though I can’t handle X even though I say I want it. I deeply and profoundly accept myself.

Even though the universe is making me wait for X for a good reason, even though I don’t know what it is yet. I’m willing to accept things as they are. It is just requiring growth from me.

How to Overcome Your Fear of Public Speaking With EFT

Did you know 75% of adults fear of public speaking (Glossophobia), Are you one of them?

I’ve been there I’ve been the best man at a wedding. Yes, perhaps the easiest of audiences, but the hardest. Do you try and be funny, serious or both? Oh the pressure. I thought about my speech for a over a year. All I wanted was for it to go really well.

I don’t expect you to prepare quite so much. This was before I found a simple life changing technique to help me over come my fear and you can too

Now, I’m doing this simple technique all the time. I’m happy standing up and giving an impromptu speech, no preparation needed!

So what is this simple technique?

It’s EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).

Fear of public speaking is because you fear of what might happen. This very often doesn’t happen, you just think it might You might know where this fear comes from. Most of the time you don’t.

With EFT, you don’t need to know the cause of your fear. Although you can often find the direct cause as well.

Using EFT you can dissolve and resolve your fears about talking in public.

What if your talking engagement is forced upon you? Do you feel anger, pressure, frustration? All of these can be dissolved using EFT.

Getting Ready For Public Speaking

Sometimes it is the pre talking nerves that get you, not the actual speaking. You know those butterflies going over and over in your stomach, the feeling of being sick. For many this is NOT excitement.

What is your trigger? Is it the thought of standing up in front of people? Looking out over all the people? Being in front of your boss?


Even though I hate being in front of people…

Even though I feel X in my stomach when I think about talking in front of all those people.

Even though the of giving a talk on something I don’t know about or am not confident in…

Thinking About What to Say

EFT will not do the preparation for you. It will help you spend the time researching your topic area, finding the time to practice your speech instead of going out and avoiding getting ready.

Even though I should be preparing, I’m not…

Even though I don’t like…

Even though X doesn’t really interest me…

Even though I have to do something that I don’t want to do…

Audience

How you handle the your audience will have a direct impact on how people remember your presentation. Are you afraid of being asked the ONE question? Even before the event aren’t you getting flustered, praying that they don’t ask you a particular question?

Even though I don’t like talking in front of my boss.

Even though others (who) will think I’m not very good at X…

Even though they (she, he, X) will laugh (or your worst fear)…

Even though X will think less of me…

Practice

The key to a really good presentation is to practice it. Either in front of a mirror, with somebody else or just in your head. As you practice the presentation. Any tension or other feelings that come up, can be dealt with there and then by using EFT. Once you start practising and combing it with EFT. Your speech will be one of the best in town.

Public Speaking with EFT will allow you to be the speaker people admire, ask back and want to emulate.
