How to Overcome Your Fear of Public Speaking With EFT

Did you know 75% of adults fear of public speaking (Glossophobia), Are you one of them?
I’ve been there I’ve been the best man at a wedding. Yes, perhaps the easiest of audiences, but the hardest. Do you try and be funny, serious or both? Oh the pressure. I thought about my speech for a over a year. All I wanted was for it to go really well.
I don’t expect you to prepare quite so much. This was before I found a simple life changing technique to help me over come my fear and you can too
Now, I’m doing this simple technique all the time. I’m happy standing up and giving an impromptu speech, no preparation needed!
So what is this simple technique?
It’s EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).
Fear of public speaking is because you fear of what might happen. This very often doesn’t happen, you just think it might You might know where this fear comes from. Most of the time you don’t.
With EFT, you don’t need to know the cause of your fear. Although you can often find the direct cause as well.
Using EFT you can dissolve and resolve your fears about talking in public.
What if your talking engagement is forced upon you? Do you feel anger, pressure, frustration? All of these can be dissolved using EFT.
Getting Ready For Public Speaking
Sometimes it is the pre talking nerves that get you, not the actual speaking. You know those butterflies going over and over in your stomach, the feeling of being sick. For many this is NOT excitement.
What is your trigger? Is it the thought of standing up in front of people? Looking out over all the people? Being in front of your boss?

Thinking About What to Say
EFT will not do the preparation for you. It will help you spend the time researching your topic area, finding the time to practice your speech instead of going out and avoiding getting ready.

Even though I have to do something that I don’t want to do…
Audience
How you handle the your audience will have a direct impact on how people remember your presentation. Are you afraid of being asked the ONE question? Even before the event aren’t you getting flustered, praying that they don’t ask you a particular question?
Even though I don’t like talking in front of my boss.
Even though others (who) will think I’m not very good at X…
Even though they (she, he, X) will laugh (or your worst fear)…
Even though X will think less of me…
Practice
The key to a really good presentation is to practice it. Either in front of a mirror, with somebody else or just in your head. As you practice the presentation. Any tension or other feelings that come up, can be dealt with there and then by using EFT. Once you start practising and combing it with EFT. Your speech will be one of the best in town.
Public Speaking with EFT will allow you to be the speaker people admire, ask back and want to emulate.

The EFT Rant Technique
In EFT there are two techniques which you may find very useful the Movie Technique and The Tell The Story Technique. Whilst these are great and have their place. They are sometimes too stop and start ‘ish’ for me.
Often when you’re having a bad day. You just can’t or don’t want to stop and beginning and another technique. You’re into your emotional, verbal blast.
Maybe you’ve only just got out of bed and you’re off. Mentally you’re already off and arguing in your head with the world and his wife. One such morning recently, I was having one of these verbal tirade, directed at myself and anything and everything else. As ever I just started tapping. It is such an inbuilt thing for me to do now.
I certainly didn’t sit there and start tapping on the karate chop point!
Even though…
I was just tapping on my collar bone point and letting it all come out. Every know and then I would tap on my karate chop point, yet I’m move back to my collar bone point. I was talking away to myself, as memories would come up, I’d go off on a tangent. I guess I was having something of an emotional brain dump and tapping at the same time. After I’d repeated several things and gone over many memories, boy did I feel better.
I’ve started to call this the EFT Rant Technique. It is literally:
1. Start either out loud or in your head, your verbal tirade.
2. Tap on a point or points that you are drawn too on your body.
3. Keep going, don’t censor yourself, is something comes up. Go with it.
It is literally that simple.
I think I kept going for about 20 minutes. After a while, I noticed I was repeating myself, my arguments and discussions. Then as I went on, there was lots of gaps between my ideas and memories, yet I kept on tapping. After 30 minutes. I felt much, much better and thought, yep I’m done.
I had got a lot off my chest and tapping on so many emotions, memories etc. All of which now are much less than when I started or are just not resurfacing in my life any more.

How To Apply The Law of Attraction Fast

Do you wonder this? I know I have and still do. What this question really means is how can I get what I want fast…stop!!! The wanting of something prevents you from getting it.I know, I know…ugh?
But, Andrew I really demand or want this.
Ask a slightly better question.
Why don’t you have what you want now?
I think there is just one reason and one reason only. You don’t believe you can…but, but , but Andrew. I’m special. If you were you’d have it. Ouch!
Please list all your reasons for not having what you want.
Done. Good. Throw it away. What is in the middle of all your excuses or reasons?
YOU! I know you don’t want to hear it. There must be an easier way. You’ve watched the Secret 20 times. Yet, you still have not got what you want.
Getting what you want is really simple. Believe you can get what you want. Believe that you deserve it I know, could that really work? Yes. Most of your life you have held beliefs about yourself that others have very kindly ‘given to you’. You have held onto them just so you can prove them right. You already know the power of your beliefs.
So the real questions is then. How do you start thinking you can have what you wish?
Start simple:
Begin saying thank you for what you want and what you have. It really is easy to come up with 10 items when you wake up and another 10 things when you go to bed.
Write 100 reasons why this must happen for you.
Write 100 reasons how you could make this happen.
Write out your goal:
I “name”, choose to have by X.
Create your own vision board of your end result.
If you are given any opportunity to go out, meet people even if you don’t know them. GO! The Law of Attraction (BOA) is really a numbers game. Th more opportunities you give yourself and the universe to make what you want happen. It will come to you much quicker. If you think you can only get or achieve what you want in one way. You are really slashing your options and opportunities.
You do you want what you want right? Do the extent that you do all the work you can to achieve what you want. The more you will not have to.
For me the real kicker is EFT. Why. EFT is naturally a doing step of LOA. With EFT you release your own emotional blocks to getting what it is that you want.
