Can EFT Cause Physical Symptoms Like Headaches?

In my experience Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) or tapping in and of itself doesn’t cause physical symptoms or injury. That doesn’t mean you will not experience physical shifts which may manifest themselves as a ‘physical pain’, hurt or heightened emotions.
Certainly in the beginning if you do lots of tapping in one sitting. By this I mean for several hours straight and repeatedly tap on the same points and on the exact same spots, you might hurt.
This is because your skin and body aren’t use to being tapped on the same spots continually for such a long period of time. If this is the case, I suggest you stop tapping for a while or start tapping on other meridian points.
Just like an athlete gets use to training and their body gets use to the stresses and strains of playing after a lay off or break. Your body will get use to you tapping on the points over and over again.
I know that if you have a ‘Champagne’ moment or a one minute wonder. You’ll have such an emotional shift, your mind and brain let go and shift in an instant. It can take time for your body to readjust itself to the new ‘space’ that has now been created within you.
If you’ve never experienced this kind of sudden emotional shift and integration before, the next day, it can feel like you are feeling run down as your body plays catch up. This is a good thing! It’s a great sign that something big has shifted.
You may feel discomfort and heightened emotions within you as you really hit the nail on the head with your tapping.
Again this is a really good thing and tends not to last too long as long as you don’t stop, avoid what you’re tapping on and keep tapping on your chosen subject.
After all it is called emotional freedom, not emotional recognise, stop and give up or not go there.
Remember this, every emotion, memory, feeling and experience comes up for a positive reason. Tap with it.
It is generally recommended that before, during and after tapping you drink plenty of water.
Long before tapping, I knew that if I didn’t drink enough water I’d end up having a headache. I suspect you’re no different. Tapping gets the energy moving around your body. As you start clearing your own stuff, it naturally dehydrates your body and system.
I’ll assume you’re not bashing on the tapping points so much that it is hurting you from the off. Then of course you would get a headache and lots of bruises too.

3 Simple Ways To End Your Procrastination
It is perfectly normal for human beings to gravitate toward pleasant tasks rather than doing unpleasant ones. So, relax already! Just because you would rather watch the football game instead of cleaning the bathroom does not mean that you are abnormal. The truth is procrastination is a part of being human. However, if you are struggling with this dilemma on an everyday basis, consider the following strategies for lessening your own procrastination.
Find Your Real Motivation: Finding the energy and motivation to get projects done can be hard to find. As true inspiration lies within, it is important to find out the source of your procrastination. It is quite possible that you are biting off more than you can chew. A woman complained that she had difficulty finding the motivation to get her house cleaned. She claimed that it was completely disorganized and she didn’t understand why. Her office at work was exceptionally neat and every other aspect of her life was pretty good.
Review Your Schedule: Upon reviewing her schedule, I realized that the woman had been working 60-70 hours a week, had two small children and was in school full-time. Her husband was in the military so he was away quite a bit leaving her with all of the household duties. No wonder she couldn’t find the time to clean up when she got home! Make sure that there is enough time in your day to do everything that is expected of you, if not, you will never get caught up. It is important to ask for help when needed and find a few minutes here and there to get little things out of the way that you may not feel like doing later.
Make A To Do List: Another great strategy for procrastination is to simply make a list of all the mundane tasks that need to be done during the day. This list should contain tasks that do not have a deadline. Take one of these tasks on each morning right when you wake up. Cross it off the list and move on to the next one tomorrow morning. Soon you will find that the list will be complete in a matter of days. After that list is complete, create a new one.
Developing a daily schedule is one of the best strategies for procrastination. Write down and prioritize the things that have deadlines and give yourself adequate time to do them. Allotting the proper amount of time is imperative to setting realistic goals.
Adhering to these simple strategies for procrastination can help you in your everyday life. You will begin to see that small changes will have large results in the long run.

The Secret of Eliminating Procrastination
Procrastination is one of the most difficult things to overcome. Low productivity and poor work habits can be frustrating and be the result of many health-related issues. Prolonged procrastination can also rob us of opportunities and causes severe damage to both morale and performance. In order to eliminate procrastination, one must recognize the types and effects of it. Doing this will allow self discovery and open a new world which will enable you to take on new challenges.
The causes of procrastination vary from person to person. Whether you are waiting for the right time to start a task or simply have negative thoughts associated with it, discovering the source of the anxiety can help to eliminate procrastination. Many procrastinators lack clear, concise goals. Not having an organized system of completing tasks can lead to chaos. Also, harbouring negative thoughts about tasks can also impose problems when attempting to start a task. As procrastinators need clarity to eliminate procrastination, they should keep a journal for self-evaluation and to record accomplishments.
Self-discipline is hard to achieve after years of forming bad habits. This can be caused from child rearing. Many children that are raised by controlling parents have difficulty making their own decisions. Many times, this behavior follows them into their adult life.
Therefore, it is extremely difficult to change this bad behavior as they have underdeveloped decision-making skills. Although it is not impossible, learning through self-evaluation is the easiest way to eliminate procrastination behaviors and develop those skills successfully.
If you want to conquer procrastination to achieve goals, you must counter-attack procrastination and own it. Developing a system that allows you to manage your time effectively can help eliminate procrastination. Organization is a key factor. Many times, people feel overwhelmed with their tasks because there is so much to do. Writing down your goals and following through with them can be helpful. It can also give you a clear idea of what exactly you have to accomplish in a set time frame.
Dealing with the consequences of your action or inaction’s is a key element in order to eliminate procrastination. Taking responsibility will empower you to utilize the tools needed to take on new challenges. Owning up to your short-comings and using them to your advantage is a great way to overcome the fear of failing. It is important to think about what you want to gain from eliminating procrastination in your life.
