If you have a lot of things you are trying to deal with at the same time, how do you prioritize what to tap on?
As for how to prioritise, go with whatever comes up or seems the most important to you.
There is no right or wrong order.
If I want to do lots of clearing on a ‘life area’. I tend to start with anger, sadness, fear and guilt as my primary emotions. Yet, that is just my preference.
Sometimes you’ll know what you should tap on, you just don’t want to. Give yourself permission to tap and change.
Even though I don’t want to tap on… I’m willing for this to change now.
Even though it’s not safe for me to change. I accept who I am and how I feel.
Even though part of me wants to change, I accept that another part of me doesn’t want to for whatever reason. I accept who I am and how I feel.
Even though I’m afraid to change because… I deeply and completely accept myself anyway.

I actually write down a list, then look at each item on the list, close my eyes, and feel where the emotional charge is on a scale from 1-10. I'll then tap on the item that has the largest emotional sting to it. This will usually take the others down as well, as they are all contributing to the overall emotional state.
