<p><strong>Do you actually know what you want?</strong></p>
<p>I&#8217;ve been there. I remember sitting in front of a computer screen and silently asking myself -  Is this my life for the next 40 years? My brain came screaming back ***** no!</p>
<p>Great, but that didn&#8217;t help me. My brain didn&#8217;t come back saying you&#8217;re going to do this.  What was I to do?</p>
<p>Simple, use my best kept secret.</p>
<p>be careful Inspiration can hit you when you least expect it.</p>
<p>But, <strong>how will you know what your passion is?<br />
</strong><br />
Think about your life?  What do you enjoy doing when not working?  What do you really enjoy doing?  Is it something physical, i.e. you feel it. Do you like to hear things, i.e. go to concert or talk. Maybe you like to look at things.</p>
<p>You might know your passion or dream as your vision, or calling.  Whatever you really enjoying doing, is actually what it will be for you.</p>
<p>i.e. If you like being told a story (audio). When you find out what your passion is&#8230;you will call it your calling (audio).</p>
<p>OK, so what is the secret?</p>
<p><strong>It&#8217;s EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)</strong></p>
<p>If you don&#8217;t know what your dream or passion is. You can tap on the reasons why you don&#8217;t know what it is.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>Even though I don&#8217;t know what my passion really is&#8230;<br />
Even though I actually afraid to admit to myself what I&#8217;m really passionate about&#8230;</strong></span></p>
<p><strong>Friends and Family</strong></p>
<p>Keep quiet about your dreams and wants. Why? Your nearest and dearest love to keep you down at their level.  That is why they are your friends.  Tell them after the event.</p>
<p>How often do you hear &#8211; you can&#8217;t always get what you want?  Or who are you kidding that will never work?  Whatever they say or tell you. If it is negative and makes you go ouch. Use EFT to overcome why it causes you to feel hurt or pain.<br />
<strong><br />
Future</strong></p>
<p>The only way to predict your future is to create it.  Yes, things will get in the way.  That is just the universe testing you.  <strong>Do you really want this?</strong> It can be as simple as boredom or procrastination. You can easily use EFT to overcome being bored, frustrated or whatever is in your way.</p>
<p><strong>Task Overload</strong></p>
<p>You might know this as overwhelm.  Every journey has things that need to get done.  If you are scared of doing a task.  You can use EFT to overcome the fear you are feeling.  Once you understand what causes the fear, you&#8217;ll find yourself doing the task or dropping it because it is not as important as you thought it was.</p>
<p><strong>Warning!</strong></p>
<p>Once you find out what your passion, calling or vision is. <strong>You must do something about it.</strong> it is not going to go away.</p>
<p>Whatever your excuse for not doing something about it. EFT is one of the quickest ways to overcome what stops you.</p>

<p>Following on from my <strong><a href="http://www.eftmagic.com/blog/training/the-most-important-word-youre-not-using-in-eft/" target="_blank">last post</a></strong>. I’m going to put something up that I’m really apprehensive about, why?</p>
<p>This sort of information I’m not sure should be out and available to the general public.  What I’m about to let you in on is really, really powerful stuff.  People pay big and I mean big bucks to learn what I’m about to tell you.</p>
<p>To recap, everything has 2 sides to it</p>
<p>Having it, NOT Having it.</p>
<p>i.e. you have anger, you don’t have anger or you have the car you don’t have the car.</p>
<p>So let’s take this one step further.</p>
<p>I don’t/do have X because of why Y</p>
<p>Any time you can get your wants or not wants into this format, the <strong>EFT NOT NOT Game</strong> can come into play</p>
<p>I don’t have the car I want because I don’t have the money.</p>
<p>Then it becomes a very simple pattern</p>
<p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>I do have</strong></span> the car because <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>I do have</strong></span> the money.</p>
<p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>I do have</strong></span> the car because <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>I don’t have</strong></span> the money.</p>
<p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>I don’t have</strong></span> the car because <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>I do have</strong></span> the money.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">I don’t have</span></strong> the car because <span style="color: #ff0000;"><strong>I don’t have </strong></span>the money.</p>
<p>X=Y</p>
<p>X= Not Y</p>
<p>Not X = Y</p>
<p>Not X = Not Y</p>
<p>Does that make sense?  You can use any of this pattern either in the set-up phrase or tapping on your points with the reminder phrase.</p>
<p>This may seem very simple or you might wonder where the power lies. The short answer is your problem can’t exist as true and real &#8220;in&#8221; one or more of these statements.</p>
<p>Once you start using this pattern, you’re problem cannot remain the same.It&#8217;s boundaries have to shift to keep it a problem.  Insight can come at you thick and fast.</p>
<p>Simple but very effective.</p>
<p>Do it.</p>

<p><strong>You Don&#8217;t Like Exercise.</strong></p>
<p>Do you have negative opinions about exercise and going down the gym?  With Emotional Freedom Techniques you can improve your self image. Enjoy going to the gym, being in front of other people.</p>

<p><strong>Change Your InAction to Action.</strong></p>
<p>With Emotional Freedom Techniques, you can begin doing small things like walking to and from the stores.  If you don&#8217;t  exercise even this small change will make a huge difference.  By tapping, your actions change, very often over time. There is no great impact.  Its effects are subtle.  You can develop with the new shifts as they happen.</p>

<p><strong>Do you want to do EFT, but can&#8217;t find the time to do it every day?</strong></p>
<p>A tapping round of EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) is very quick, yet I know sometimes you just can&#8217;t find the time to fit it in everyday.</p>
<p>There is one secret place and time where you can always do a round of tapping. You are on your own, with no distractions from anybody else.</p>
<p><strong>When and where is this secret place?</strong></p>
<p>I&#8217;ll tell you.</p>
<p><strong>The bathroom</strong>. You can always go into the bathroom, lock the door and do a round of tapping. You only need 2 or 3 minutes to do a round.</p>
<p>But when and how can you fit EFT into your daily routine?</p>
<p>Listed are some of my favourite places and times to do a quick round of tapping.</p>
<p>1. Do a round of tapping the moment you wake up. After a few days, you&#8217;ll naturally remember to tap every day.</p>
<p>2. Tap when you go to bed at the end of the day. You can review your day and tap on anything that you have not liked.</p>
<p>3. Every time you have a meal or prepare something to eat. For most of us, that is 3 times a day. Although if you&#8217;re on a certain type of diet, it could be a lot more. Result! I know from cooking myself, there is always some down time when preparing the dinner.</p>
<p>4. Walking to and from the office. Why not tap when walking the dog?</p>
<p>5. Every time you make a cup of tea or coffee. Or do you grab a coffee on the way to the office? For you, that might be an extra 8 tapping rounds a day!</p>
<p>6. Why not tap, every time you stop at a red traffic light. &#8211; Make sure it is safe to do so!</p>
<p>7. Do you watch TV? Tap along to the news or when watching your favourite soap.</p>
<p>8. Do you use public transport to go to school or the office? Tap whilst waiting or during the journey. For me, I gain an extra hour a day!</p>
<p>9. If you fly, tap in the departures lounge or during the flight or why not both</p>
<p>10. I love to tap every Saturday before and during my game of hockey (field). My goal scoring has gone through the roof already this season. I was not a natural goal score, yet now during the game and at practice during the week. I crave to score a goal. I now want to score, not just be a goal provider.</p>
<p><strong>How can you find more of your own free time?</strong></p>
<p>For the next two or three days, just note down on a piece of paper r, what you do during a day and at what time. You&#8217;ll soon find your own free time. You&#8217;ll be amazed at all the free time you have. What actually do you do when you stop work and return home for the rest of the day?</p>
<p>Here are two “time sheets” in pdf format for you to fill out and find your extra free time.  The more honest you are with yourself, the more free time you will find that you have.</p>

<p>On a scale of 1-10 rate this emotion and its intensity. 1– being  little or no emotional intensity and attachment. 10 being maximum  intensity and emotional attachment.</p>

I hate clothes and shoe shopping for myself and quite often for other people too.  Sorry Ms. EFTMagic!</p>
<p>I find shopping quite often a complete waste of time and excruciatingly painful. I can’t find clothes that I like. I can’t find clothes that fit.  My real pain and hate is shoe shopping.</p>
<p>My feet are size 6. In the UK, boys shoes stop at 5 and nearly in all shops sell men shoes which start at size a 7.  Thus you see my problem.  We are the shoes less, forgotten people. Most shops don’t have my shoe size in stock.</p>
<p>Normally, I have 1 pair of black shoes, 1 pair of brown shoes, maybe a pair of trainers (sneakers). That is pretty much it.</p>
<p>I’ll often go into a shop looking for shoes only to discover, that they don’t have any in my size or if they do I’ll have to go to the children’s section to find shoes that might fit me.  The problem is velcro shoes, big lips, tongue and spider-man motifs don’t really cut it in an office or nice restaurant. I hate shoe shopping!</p>
<p>Let me put this into perspective, I might get one new pair of shoes a year, if that! In fact it might be more like every 18 months to two years, when I find a new pair. Shoe shopping for me is painful to say the least. I’ve been known to fly to New York, just so that I can buy shoes. Often if I find a pair of adult size 6 shoes, I have to buy them there and then because I’m not sure when I’ll see another pair.</p>
<p><strong>What Does EFT Have To Do Shoe Buying?</strong></p>
<p>In EFT there is a saying: <strong>Try It On Everything</strong>. I do! Most people it seems in the EFT community tend to focus on resolving,  what for me is pretty normal and run of the mill issues for any form of healing and personal change and development technology. Stop smoking, overcoming stress, loosing weight etc.  You get the idea.  Yet, EFT is so simple and easy to use and try. You should use it on everything that you don’t like in your life. Yes, getting over something like anxiety or an illness with EFT is fantastic, yet why should it remain in the realm of average self help focus? <strong>Use it on everything!</strong></p>
<p>Thus, I thought what if I use it on my hatred of shoe shopping? In the begin I used it for how I can’t ever find shoes that fit me. If I did find them, I didn’t like them or they were or too expensive or I shuddered at the price for a pair of shoes.</p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;"><em>Even though I can’t find any shoes that fit me, I deeply and completely love forgive and accept myself.</em></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;"><em>Even though I hate shopping and really hate shoe shopping, I choose to let it go and stop holding on to this hatred and any other emotions that prevent me from buying shoes.</em></span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;"><em>Even though I balk, every time I see the price of the shoes that I want, I love and forgive myself.</em></span></strong></p>
<p>Not much seemed to happen when I went shopping the next time round. Yes, I did look for shoes, but nothing happened.</p>
<p>Then once again, over the past week, I went over a round of tapping called <em>“Something Big” , </em>by my friend, Margaret Lynch. You can get the exact phrasing of the round in her excellent program, <strong><a title="The Secret of Intentional Wealth" href="http://www.eftmagic.com/recommends/TheSecretofIntentionalWealth" target="_blank">The <em>Secret of Intentional Wealth</em></a></strong>.  This is one of the tapping rounds that I use weekly if not daily. I love it. It is a great shift changer.</p>
<p>I normally “go through the motions” when tapping, not always feeling or fully experiencing the emotion I’m wanting to clear. Yet on Thursday. I put lots of emphasis into the words. I even played them out. One line, says <em>you’ll be excitedly calling people</em>. I went off a tangent and had an imaginary, out loud conversation with my best friend. He was some 100+ miles away.</p>
<p>I often try and force the results that I want from this round. e.g. I’m after a particular result. This time was no different. I still don’t know if that result that I wanted has happened yet or not.</p>
<p>On Saturday I went to a local store and just popped in on the off chance/no chance of finding shoes that might fit me. The weather here, in the UK has been shocking and I’ve no grip on the souls of my shoes. I’m sliding all over the ice. I needed new shoes. So off I went to the shoe section of the store.</p>
<p><strong>Firstly</strong>, I got a shock that there were advertising shoes in my size.<br />
<strong>Secondly</strong>, they had shoes actually in stock and on the shelves.<br />
<strong>Thirdly</strong>, there was more than one design and they were for adults!<br />
<strong>Fourthly</strong>, I actually liked what I saw.</p>
<p>Now, I had a situation that I had never ever faced before: I just didn’t know which pair of shoes to buy. This was new territory for me. I tried nearly every design they had on that was in a size 6.  The up shot was, I loved shopping for my new shoes. I bought a pair. Well that doesn’t seem that unusual. The clincher? I didn’t just buy 1 or 2 pairs.</p>
<p>I ended up buying 9! Yes that’s right. I bought 9 pairs of shoes. I’ve never had such fun shopping for shoes either.  I took all of them to the counter and gladly paid for all my <strong>new</strong> shoes. I was even happy with the price. I didn’t shudder or wince or anything, no negative emotion, nothing.  So, I came out of the store with 9 pairs of shoes and a grin on my face.  Genius!</p>
<p>Already in 2010 I’ve bought more pairs of shoes than I did in the whole of the last decade! I now have 10 pairs of shoes. This is all very new to me and I love it!</p>
