Do things seem to be going really well, you want to get married and then the brakes seem to go on?

What if it isn’t him that doesn’t want to get married, it is actually you?

Have you been dreaming of getting married since you were a little girl. You know how many children you want, the dress, the cottage you are going to live in. You are already emotional involved in wanting to get married.

Even if you haven’t told him all these things. Talking to you as a guy, we all pick up on your unconscious signals.

But there is something that you can start using today… to over come all of this and more.

You might call it a fear of commitment: fear of intimacy, commitment phobia, fear of dependency or, more broadly, “intimacy issues.”

In the end, all these labels are describing the same general behaviour – a fear of becoming too emotionally invested in a relationship and making oneself vulnerable to being emotionally scarred.

There are many reasons for not committing:

Not Your “Soul Mate”

Your soul mate is a person who is nearly perfect. Basically, this amounts to a fear of interpersonal conflict. Thanks to movies, television, the media. We are all led to believe that this is possible and if we don’t find our soul mates, we’ll be a failure.

The romance section of a book store is one of the most popular – enough said. You can use EFT to attract the mate that you truly want, not the one you think you should have.

Fear Related to Relationship Performance

For you and your partner, this is huge. From being the perfect husband and wife, to providing. What if you have issues around children and finances? EFT can be very successful in resolving emotions surrounding both.

EFT does not eliminate your stress forever. Sorry. You’ll always find new triggers that will cause you to be and feel stressed.

EFT allows you to quickly release the emotional reasons why stress happens to you.

Once you learn how to do EFT, you body will start to feel stressed and let go of the the stressful emotions quicker and faster all by itself. Since it learns that is what you’ll do anyway.

Yes, in case you’re wondering I get stressed too. Just because I do EFT, does not mean I live in a utopian existence.

Did you know many illnesses are caused by your negative emotions and thoughts?

EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) can help lessen and in some cases even cure the apparent causes of cancer and other illnesses. I’m not a doctor. If you choose to do EFT, you do so because you want to.

I’ve seen people die and survive a variety of cancers. I don’t know if I agree with the current medical standpoints on cancer. When people I’ve known are in hospital.  There never seems to be a plan. The patient just becomes a scientific pin cushion.

Of course, it’s my opinion that the medical profession is never going to like anything they have not come up with and formulated as the right or correct way of treatment or cure.  We’ve seen this with many alternative methods to pill popping and chemo. Why would they? Cancer, medicine, treatment is a billion dollar industry.

Would you want to lose all that money?

With EFT if you tap on your negative emotions and all the causes that you can find.  You will see a remarkable improvement in your health.  This I am certain of.

The Word Cancer

Cancer is just a word, yet it comes with such emotional baggage.  Whatever emotions come up for you when you think about cancer or having cancer, tap on them.

Even though thinking about cancer makes me……, I deeply and completely accept myself.

Anger

What makes you angry about having cancer?  Whenever you can associate or get angry about cancer, tap on that.

Even though I’m anger because I have this cancer. I’m open to letting go of this now.  Even though X makes me angry. I choose to forgive myself for holding onto this and I choose to forgive those others that may have contributed to this in any way, shape or form.

Fear

Having cancer, you will be afraid of many things With EFT you can tap on all things that you’re afraid of.  If you’re afraid for somebody else, tap on that too.

Even though I have this fear of not being able to look after my family. I deeply and completely accept myself.  Even though I have this fear of dying all alone. I choose to believe this is not true any more.

You Like Being Ill

Granted, this is a stretch for most of you. Yet, on a deeper level you believe having cancer will get or give you something that is currently missing from your life.  It is much easier to tap on what you don’t have in your life and get it rather than go down this route.

Even though I like being ill for whatever reason. I choose to allow myself to heal now.

Sadness

You’re all going to feel sad at times.  You’ll want to give up. When ever you feel sad, tap on that too.

Even though I  feel sad because I’ll be leaving my family. I fully accept who I am.

Guilt

What in your life have you felt or do you feel guilt about?  Guilt is a really heavy emotion to carry around with you.  Isn’t it time that you made peace with yourself.

Even though I feel guilty because I didn’t tell her I loved her enough. I choose to forgive myself for all my wrong doing.

Your Future

Nobody really knows what the future may hold for you.  Yet, with EFT you can make it much easier on yourself.

I believe there are events, thoughts, times and reasons that trigger you into having or developing cancer (Yes, I know this is pretty much out there for most people).  I also think in the same breath you can use those, times, people, event to heal yourself, prevent and get over cancer.

After all, we are all pretty much the same, yet, we don’t all develop cancer.  We are at the beginning of very exciting times for all of us.
